Presentation Session on ACCIÓ’s 2025 GPS for Grants and Funding Calls

On February 11th, as every year, the Cluster, in collaboration with ACCIÓ's Next Generation EU Office, held the presentation session for the 2025 regional and national funding calls.

This edition featured Joel Juvany and Cinthya Villafaña, consultants from ACCIÓ's Next Generation EU Office, who presented the funding calls and the GPS alert system designed to help identify PRTR investment opportunities for projects related to the sector.

The goal of the session was to inform attendees and cluster members about the various ongoing and upcoming regional and national funding calls, to help them understand the guidelines, prepare and analyze the calls in detail, and ultimately provide tailored support and follow-up for interested companies.

The cluster works with expert consulting firms specializing in grants and funding management, offering special agreements and support for its members.

Additionally, Joel highlighted the importance of the fourth call of the PERTE VEC, with special focus on the development and production of batteries for electric vehicles. As a new feature, this call includes a section dedicated to the electric and connected vehicle value chain.

He detailed the investment projects and eligible expenditures under this call, including a specific funding line aimed at supporting investment by SMEs.

He then explained the PERTE for the Circular Economy, focused on funding for recycling facilities for photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, and batteries, as well as innovation projects in eco-design.
