Light Mobility Cluster launches a series of technical training programs for Light Mobility Industry on sessions that can take place online and onsite. The program will start in July 2023 with the Functional Safety Training ISO 26262, which will be provided by AVL Technology Engineering.
Overview
Functional safety is about ensuring that nobody is exposed to a serious threat due to a malfunction in the vehicle or any of the systems contained in a vehicle.
ISO 26262 is an international functional safety standard for the development of electrical and electronic systems in the automotive sector. It is a standard for functional safety electronic, electrical, embedded, and software components in series-production road vehicles.
ISO 26262 certification can help companies demonstrate compliance with automotive safety standards, improve product quality and reliability, reduce the risk of hazardous situations arising from system failures but also to avoid the risk of product recalls or compensation claims.
Target Audience
Developers, testers, and project managers, who are primarily involved in the development of programmable electronic security systems and want to carry out this development according to the international standard ISO 26262
